Senior optometrist
Optometrist since 2019, first in several hospitals and since 2022 self-employed.
In 2025 he co-founded Novio Oogzorg with Mr Awad.
He focuses on eye complaints between primary and secondary care. Where appropriate and under supervision, he can prescribe medication, saving you an extra appointment with your GP or ophthalmologist.

Senior optometrist
Graduated as an optometrist in 2018 (Utrecht University of Applied Sciences), then worked at the Beatrix Hospital, Bergman Clinics (from 2019) and Lameris Ootech (2022–2025). Co-founded Novio Oogzorg with Mr Caglar in 2025.
Eye complaints raise questions and worry. By listening carefully, examining thoroughly and explaining clearly, he aims to give you clarity and peace of mind quickly.
About
Novio Oogzorg
We believe good eye care should be accessible to everyone. We are a specialised practice for primary and intermediate eye care: for complaints too complex for an optician, but not yet requiring an ophthalmologist.
Our experienced optometrists carry out thorough examinations and work closely with GPs and ophthalmologists in the region. Where needed, we refer you to a specialist.
Referral and insurance
Please ask your GP for a referral, so your GP is informed from the start. Afterwards we send a report if needed. The examination is fully covered, without affecting your deductible.
We work by appointment only, so there is enough time for every patient.
